Golfers are recommended to book at least 12 months in advance if they wish to play Ireland's best links courses. However, golfers can book as soon as a couple of weeks before their intended travel date.
Groups interested in hiring a self-drive vehicle, will be recommended a larger vehicle to accommodate for golf bags and luggage. If you plan on renting a vehicle, we use Hertz. Hertz may look for a vehicle deposit of €2,000 to €5,000 upon collection. This can be waived by paying daily excess waiver insurance at the counter when speaking with Hertz.
Group sizes of 4+
For group sizes of 4+, a private coach and driver is recommended. This gives you access to private transportation for up to 10 hours a day.
Non-golfers
If you have non-golfers in your group, they can use the private coach and driver at their leisure, whilst the other section of the group is out golfing!
Ireland's high season runs from April to October. Golf is recommended during this period due to Ireland's unpredictable weather. Whilst Ireland's summer days can be pleasant, it is recommended to bring wet gear, sweaters and/or towels for evenings and in the event of a downpour whilst on the green.
We recommend buying your wet gear from HLINC Golf.
